If alpha and beta are the zeros of the quadratic equations f (x)=x2+x-2 then evaluate 1/alpha-1/beta

for the given equation

a=1

b=1

c=-2

then,

alpha+beta =1

alpha. beta=-2

1/alpha -1/beta= -(alpha +beta) /alpha.beta

= -1/-2

= 1/2
