HERE YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED THE QUADRATIC EQUATION SO I AM ASSUMING IS BY MY SELF

let the quadratic equation be

 {ax}^{2}  + bx + c = 0

sum of the roots = -b/a

alpha + ß = -b/a

and ,

alpha × ß = c/a

1/alpha + 1/ß

= (alpha + ß)/alpha × ß

= -b/c
