x² - 16x + 160

alpha + beta =16 _ 1

alpha -beta=4 _ 2

alpha =16-beta

Substitute value of alpha in eq 2

16 - beta - beta= 4

16 - 2 beta = 4

- 2 beta = - 20

beta = 10

alpha + 10 = 16

alpha = 6

alpha × beta = 160

polynomial, x² - 16x + 160
