if alpha and beta are zeroes of p(x) 4x2+3x+7, then find alpha-1 + beta-1?

P(x)=4x2+3x+7
Alpha and beta are the zeroes so
Alpha+beta= -coefficient of x/coefficient of x2
Alpha+beta= -3/4
Now
Alpha+beta-2= -3/4-2= -3-8/4= -11/4
