IF alpha and beta are zeroes of the polynomial x square minus 6x plus a find the value of a if 3alpha plus 2 beta = 20

a=1 b=-6 c=1
alpha+beta=-b/a
=6 eq(1)
alpha×beta=c/a
=a eq(2)
3alpha+2beta=20 eq(3)
From eq 1 and 3 by elimination method
Beta=-2
Alpha=8
Now put these value in eq 1st
8×(-2)=a
-16=a
