Step-by-step explanation:

x²-x-6

Roots are Alpha,beta

alpha/beta+beta/Alpha

alpha²+beta²/alpha×beta

we know

a²+b²=(a+b)²-2ab

so alpha²+beta²=(Alpha+beta)-2alpha×beta

=(1)-2×-6

=1+12

=13

alpha²+beta²=13

13/-6

-13/6 is the Answer
