Hii...☺

Here is your solution...☺

Since,
 \alpha \: and \: \: \beta \: are \: the \: zeroes \:, we \: have
⚫. 5x² + 4x -9

=> 5x² + 9x - 5x - 9

=> x ( 5x + 9) - 1 ( 5x + 9)

=> (x - 1) (5x + 9)

 \alpha \: = 1
and ,

 \beta \: = \: - 9 \div 5

Now,

 { \alpha }^{2} - { \beta }^{2} \\ = > ( \alpha + \beta )( \alpha - \beta )
=>[ 1 + (-9/5)] [ 1 - (-9/5)]
=> ( 1 - 9/5) (1 +9/5)
=> ( 5-9/5) ( 5+9/5)
=> -4/5 × 14/5
=> -56/25

Thanks...☺
