If alpha beta are the zeros of polynomial x square + 7 x + 12 then find the value of one upon alpha plus one

x^2+7x+12 = 0
factorise this equation:
x^2 + 4x + 3x + 12 = 0 
x(x+4) + 3 (x+4) = 0 
therefore, (x+3) (x+4) = 0
               = x = -3 OR -4
let -3 be alpha 
and -4 be beta
1/ alpha + 1 = 1+(-3)/-3
                    = -2/-3
                    = 2/3
