X^2 + (SUM OF ROOTS)X  + (PRODUCT OF ROOTS)

HERE,

3X^2 -2X -6 =0

X^2  -  (2/3)X - 2 =0

SO,

SUM OF ROOTS = 2/3

PRODUCT OF ROOTS = -2

NOW ,    LET ALPHA = A AND BETA = B

SO  1/A +1/B   = (A+B)/AB

                       = 2/3(-2)

                        = (-1/3)
