Assume the angle that you want to find out = x

Then its complement = 90° - x

Therefore, from the given statement, x = 90° - x - 28

This in turn implies that 2x = 90-28 = 62

Thus, the desired angle x = 31°

Solution :-

As it is given that an angle is 28° less than its complement.

Let the required angle be of measure x°.

then the other angle will be of measure (x + 28)°

We know that the sum of complementary angles is 90°.

So, according to the question.

⇒ x + (x + 28) = 90

⇒ 2x + 28 = 90

⇒ 2x = 90 - 28

⇒ 2x = 62

⇒ x = 31°

Hence, the measure of the required angle is 31°
