let the angle be x and y
x + y = 180 \\ x = 2y - 6\\ y + (2y -6) = 180 \\ 3y -6 = 180 \\ y = \frac{180 + 6}{3} \\ y = 62 \\ x = 180 - 62 = 118

bonjour dear!

let one angle be x

⇒another angle according to your question is 2x- 6

⇒as they are supplementary angles their sum is 180°

then equation is

x+2x-6=180°

3x = 180 + 6

3x= 186

x= 186/3

x= 62°

first angle = x= 62°

second angle = 2x= 2*62= 124°

hope it helps
