If an angle is half of it's complementary angle then find the degree measure of the angle

Two complementary angles.

One is x

The other one x/2

So equation formed is:

x + x/2 = 90°

2x/2 + x/2 = 90° {Taking L.C.M}

3x/2 = 90°

3x = 90° x 2

3x = 180°

x = 180°/3

x = 60°

So one angel is 60°

And the other one is 60/2 i.e 30°
