a6 = 20

So.. a - 5d = 20 (1)

And d = 2

So... putting the value of d in equation (1) we get.

a - 5 × 2 = 20

a - 10 = 20

a = 30.

So the first term is 30.

a6 = a + (n - 1)d \\ 20 = a +(6 - 1)2 \\ 20 = a + 10 \\ a = 20 - 10 \\  =  > 10 \: (ans.)
