Given :  an arc subtends an angle of 60 degrees at the centre

To Find : corresponding arc subtends an angle of what degree at the center

Solution:

Minor arc and corresponding major arc forms a complete circle

Complete circle is 360°

angle subtended by arc and corresponding arc together is 360°

=> 60° +  angle subtended by corresponding arc at center = 360°

=>   angle subtended by corresponding arc at center = 360° - 60°

=>   angle subtended by corresponding arc at center = 300°

Hence :

If an arc subtends an angle of 60 degrees at the centre, then it's corresponding arc subtends an angle of..300°. at the centre.
