if an atom contains one electron and one Proton will it carry any charge or not​

The charge of one proton is positive, and electron is negative.

If the atom contains the same number of electrons and protons, the positive  and negative charges are balanced, hence the atom is said to be neutral.

---- Neutral - Not having either positive charge or negative charge.
