endosperm has ploidy 3n
therefore n =24/3=8
but root is somatic part hence diploid
therefore 2n=16 Ans .

Answer:

The endosperm have the 3n kind of the chromosomal distribution.

Now if the number of chromosomes that angiosperm has is 24, then dividing 24 by 3 the answer is going to be 8

But as we know that the root is the somatic part so the number of the chromosomes will be diploid and now we will multiply 8 with 2 and the chromosome number will be 16.
