Draw a line perpendicular from the base of triangle to the Top.

Solution:

Since you drew a perpendicular angle from the base of the triangle it forms 90° from both sides.

Now divide the base by 2 and apply Pythogoras formula (a^{2}  + b^{2}

= c ^{2}

Done.
