Object and image are at same distancia from the mirror.If the object is at 7.5 cm from the mirror the image is also at the same distance . So distance from image and object is 7.5 + 7.5 = 15 cm .

we know that, the distance between the object and the reflected image from the mirror is same. So if an object is placed at a distance of 7.5cm from a plane mirror its image will form (7.5+7.5=15) 15cm far.
