p(x)=5x²-7x+2

0=5x²-(5+2)x+2

0=5x²-5x-2x+2

0=5x(x-1)-2(x-1)

0=(5x-2)(x-1)

if, x-1=0

x=1

if, 5x-2=0

x=2/5.

therefore,

 \alpha  = 1 \\  \beta  =  \frac{2}{5}

So,

 \frac{1}{ \alpha }  +  \frac{1}{ \beta }  =  \frac{1}{1}  +  \frac{1}{ \frac{2}{5} } \\  =  \frac{2 + 5}{2} \\   \frac{1}{ \alpha }   +  \frac{1}{ \beta }    =  >  \frac{7}{2}
