If α and β are zeroes of f(x) = x² -5x +k such that α – β = 1 then the value of k is ?

Answer:  6                

Step-by-step explanation: we know sum of roots  = 5

                                                            difference = 1

                                       solving gives alpha = 3

                                                                   beta= 2

                                         k = product of roots

                                i.e ,  k=2 x 3 = 6
