cos A = ac/ab

cosb = bc/ab

cos a = cos b,

ac/ab= bc/ab .
ac= ab

we know that in a triangle angles opposite equal sides are equal....

angle b = angle a
hence proved
i hope this helps

We know that In a triangle ABC,

Cos A = AC/AB

Cos B = BC/AB.

Given cos A = cos B

AC/AB = BC/AB

AC = BC.

We know that opposites sides of equal angles are equal.

Angle A = Angle B.

Hope this helps!
