Answer:

In triangle ABC AND PQR

AB=PQ

BC=QR

AC=PR

triangle ABC congruents to triangle PQR

THEREFORE,

PQ=7CM

QR=10CM

if triangle abc and triangle pqr are similar then find the length of PQ and QR ??

[correct question]

Given:

triangle abc and triangle pqr are similar

To find:

the length of PQ and QR

Solution:

If the triangles are similar then the ratio of the sides are equivalent as per the sequence of the vertex of the triangle

as we have given that

ΔABC ≈ ΔPQR

so the ratio of the sides will be given by:

  • AB/PQ = BC/QR = CA/RP

from the figure

  • 7/PQ = 10/QR = 12/18

for QR

  • 10/QR = 12/18
  • QR = 180/12
  • QR = 15 cm

For PQ

  • 7/PQ = 12/18
  • PQ = 126/12
  • PQ = 10.5 cm

The length of PQ = 10.5 cm and QR = 15 cm
