If angular momentum is conserved in a system whose moment of inertia is decreased.will it's rotational kinetic energy be also conserved?

When angular momentum is conserved and moment of inertia is decreased, then it means that the angular velocity increased by that many times as much as times the moment of inertia decreased.

In this case Rotational kinetic energy will not be conserved, in fact it will increase than what it was before.
