If any substance catches fire ,it will become difficult to extinguish the fire as oxygen supports combustion. Give reason.............. pls give the answer

actually combustion needs three things
1.fuel
2.heat/energy
3.oxidizer
But oxygen is not strictly needed oxygen is just a common oxidizer.
if anyone of the three are removed the combustion will stop not only oxygen helps all the three are equally important for combustion
