if apedulam take 32 sec to complete 40 oscillation then find out its time period.

Answer 1

40 osc of pendulum takes 32 sec
x osc of pendulum takes 1 sec (say x osc)

x = 40/32 = 10/8 = 5/4

osc/sec = 5/4 {or frequency,f = 5/4}

we have T= [1/(osc/sec)] { or T=1/f }
Thus, T= 4/5.
