Solution :-

Given that, α and β are the zeroes of polynomial.

↪x² + 7 = 0

↪x² + 0x + 7 = 0

On comparing with ax² + bx + c = 0 , We get :

↪ a = 1 , b = 0 , c = 7

Finding Sum of roots.

↪α + β = -b/a

↪α + β = -(0)/1

{\boxed{\red{\tt{α + β = 0}}}}

Finding Product of zeroes.

↪αβ = c/a

↪αβ = 7/1

{\boxed{\blue{\tt{αβ = 7}}}}

Hence,

  • The value of α+β is 0.
