We know,

So using the formula :

$\sf⟹\:64=side^{2}$

$\sf\:oR\:side^{2}=64$

$\sf⟹\:side=\sqrt{64}$

$\sf⟹\:side=8$

And we know that all sides in a square are equal in length.

$\tt\pink{∴\:Length\:of\:each\:side=8\:cm}$
