If area of a trapeezium is28m^2 and two parallel sides are 8m and 60dm respectively, find the altitude

Given,

Area of trapezium = 28 m^2

Length of parallel sides = 8 m and 60 dm =8 m and 6 m

Area of trapezium = 1/2 * sum of parallel sides * altitude

28 = 1/2* 6+8 * altitude

28 = 1/2 * 14 * altitude

28= 7* altitude

28/7 = altitude

∴ Altitude = 4 m
