if area of a triangle comes negative in coordinate geometry, how do i show the area of triangle in positive value? how do i explain the conversion

The negative area means it lies below the x-axis. To change the negative area in positive, the inverse rule is applied. This converts the negative sign in positive

-(-x) = + x
