Area = x² + 9x + 18

Breadth = x + 6

Area = x² + 6x + 3x + 18

= x ( x + 6 ) + 3 ( x + 6 )

= ( x + 3 ) ( x + 6 )

We know,

Area = Length * Breadth

( x + 3 ) ( x + 6 ) = Length * ( x + 6 )

So, Length = x + 3

As we know the area of rectangle is (length *breadth )

so , Area is given that x square + 9x + 18

L*B = x square + 9x +18

L = {x square + 9x +18 }\ (x+6)

L= ( x+ 3)

so dear, ( x+3) is the length of the rectangle

I hope you have understood
