1/2×b ×h =240
1/2 * b * 30 =240
15b=240
b=16 base
by Pythagoras
16^2+30^2=hypo^2
hypo = 34
perimeter = sum of sides
30+34+16=80m

thashreefams: bt here the final answr is 16m
nishitdudeja2303: Brother perimeter is sum of sides
nishitdudeja2303: One side has been given 30 then how can the answer be 16
nishitdudeja2303: It's base that us 16 see in answer

Answer:

We know that,

Area of a triangle = 1/2 × base × height

Here Area of Δ is given = 240 m²

and one side is = 30 m

∴ Area of a triangle = 1/2 × base × height

∴ 240 = 1/2 × base × 30

∴ base = 240 / 15

∴ base = 16 m

So we get second side other than hypotenuse is 16 m

∴ hypotenuse = √(side1)² + (side2)²

∴ hypotenuse = √30² + 16²

∴ hypotenuse = √900 + 256

∴ hypotenuse = √1156

∴ hypotenuse = 34 m

Now Perimeter of Δ = Sum of all sides

∴ Perimeter of Δ = 30 + 34 + 16

∴ Perimeter of Δ = 80 m
