here c= k-4, and a = 4

product of zeroes = c/a

=>. @×1/@ = (k-4)/4

1 = (k-4)/4

4 = k-4

k = 4+4

k = 8

Hi !

 4x² - 17x + k-4

a = 4

b = -17

c = k - 4

1/
@ and @ are zeros of the polynomial.
Hence, their product must be equal to c/a

1/
@*@ = c/a
1 = c/a
1 = k-4/4
k - 4 = 4
k = 8

Value of k is 8
