If ax*x + bx + c = 0, then what is x?

Anonymous: Being quadratic it has 2 roots..

x = {-b + √(b² - 4ac) } / 2a & {-b-√(b² -4ac)} / 2a

We can find x by the quadratic formula:

Being quadratic it has 2 roots..i.e. two possible solutions.

x = {-b + √(b² - 4ac) } / 2a &

x = {-b-√(b² -4ac)} / 2a

As i already said

Hope it helps
