Answer:

if x+1 is a common factor then

x=-1

put x=1 in ax2+bx+c

We get

a-b+c---(1)

put x=-1 in bx2+ax+c

We get

b-a+c---(2)

add (1)&(2) we get

c=0

sub (1)&(2) We get

a=b

hence showed

Note: there is a mistake in question it is not bx2+ac+c it is bx2+ax+c
