if B combines with F and valency of B is 1 and valency of F is 2, find the formula for the compound.​

hey listen .. this can't be solved because this information shows that both are metals because they both have positive valency

Explanation:

another way to solve this is that B can be hydrogen and F can be metal like magnesium , calcium etc.

hence in some cases hydrogen becomes acceptor of electrons but only with potassium , sodium , magnesium

so in this way compound formed is F2B1 . I wrote F first because metals are written first in compound formation

or else u have to mention which one from B and F have negative valency

because F also can't be fluorine because it have 2 valency

so please correct the question ..
