Solution :

Given : CB ⊥ AB, DA ⊥ AB.

BC = 4, AD = 8

Find: A(∆ ABC)/A(∆ ADB)

Ans. A(∆ ABC)/A(∆ ADB) =1/2base×height/1/2base×height

=1/2×BC×AB/1/2×AD×AB

Remaining:BC/AD

4/8=1/2
