ABCD is rectangle

in triangle DBC

breadth is base, diagonal 13 and length is perpendicular

by Pythagoras theorem

H²=P²+B²

13²= P²+ 5²

P²= 13²-5² = 169-25 = 144

P²= 144

P=12cm

length is 12cm

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b) = 2× 17 = 34 cm

Area of rectangle=l×b = 12×5 = 60cm²
