Answer: x = a/2b

y = b-a/2c

Step-by-step explanation: bx - cy = a - b (1)

bx + cy = a + b (2)

add (1) and (2)

we get

2bx = a

x = a/2b (3)

put (3) in (1)

a/2 - cy = a-b

cy = a/2 -a +b

y = b - a/2c
