In line segment AB,

AC = BC (C is the mid point of AB)----------(2)

AB = AC + BC ---------(3)

(1) & (2) =》AB = 2AC -------(4)

ln line segment PQ ,

PR = QR (R is the midpoint of PQ)--------(5)

PQ = PR + QR----------(6)

(5) & (6) =》PQ = 2PR-----(7)

(1) in (4) & (7) =》AB =AC
