Selling price by the supplier  = Cash Paid + Discount availed

Let the selling price be 'x'

Discount availed = 5%(x)

x = 20,000 + 5%(x)

x - 5%(x) = 20,000

0.95x = 20,000

x = 20,000/0.95

x= 21,052.632

Discount availed in rupees = 5%(21,052.632) = Rs.1,052.632
