Given:

  • Circumference = 72.6cm

To find:

  • Radius
  • Diameter

Solution:

We know,

Circumference of a circle=2πr

And,

π = 22/7

Putting the values,

⇒ 72.6 = 2πr

⇒ 72.6 =2(22/7)(r)

⇒ r = 72.6×7/44

⇒ r = 11.55

Radius = 11.55cm.

Now,

Using the formula:

Diameter = 2×radius

Putting the values,

⇒Diameter = 2×11.55

                = 23.7cm.

Diameter = 23.7cm
