Solution :

Given class mark ( x ) = 8.5

Class size ( h ) = 5

Lower limit = x - h/2

= 8.5 - 5/2

= 8.5 - 2.5

= 6

Upper limit = x + h/2

= 8.5 + 5/2

= 8.5 + 1.5

= 10

Therefore ,

Class interval : 6 - 10

Answer:

Given: Class mark ‘a’ = 8.5

           Class size ‘b’ = 5.

Therefore, the lower limit is:

L = a -  b/2

= 8.5 – 2.5 = 6.

And the upper limit is:

U = a +b/2

= 8.5 +2.5 = 11

Therefore, the class interval = 6 - 11.

Hope this helps you! :)
