Given:

If complementary angle is double of the given angle

To Find:

measure of the given angle.!

Solution:

 ➺\tt \: we \: know \: that  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:     \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:\:\\  \tt \:sum \: of \:  complementary \: angles \: \: is {\pink {\: 180}}

so, let the given angle be x

and the other angle be 2x

let's frame an equation now,

 \sf \: :  ⟹ x + 2x = 180 \\  \\ \sf \: :  ⟹3x = 180 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\ \sf \: :  ⟹x =  \cancel \frac{180}{3}   \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\ \sf \: :  ⟹x = 60  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:

 \sf {\red{ \underbrace{measures \: of \: the \: angles \: are : }}}

given angle (x) equals 60°

other angle (2x)=120°

hope this helps.!!
