cos(a+b) = 1/2

cos(a+b) = cos 60°

a+b = 60° ---(1)

cos(a-b) = 0

cos(a-b) = cos 90°

a-b = 90° ----(2)

add equation 1 and 2

a-b + (a + b ) = 90° + 60°

2a = 150°

a=75°

put the value of a in equation 1

75°+b=60°

b=60°-75°= -15°
