Cos²θ = 64/100

Cos θ = 8/10

Cos θ = Adjacent side / Hypotenuse

Therefore,

Opposite side = √Hypotenuse²-Adjacent side²

= √100-64

=√36

=±6

=6 {Distance cannot be negative}

Therefore,

Sin θ = Opposite Side / Hypotenuse = 6/10

Sin² θ = 36/100 = 0.36

OTHER METHOD :

We know,

Sin² θ + Cos² θ = 1

therefore,

Sin² θ = 1 - Cos² θ

= 1 - 0.64

=0.36

Sin²θ = 36/100

Sin θ = 6/10 = 0.6

Hope it Helps
