cosec A + cotA = 5/2 ....(1)

we know

cosec²A - cot²A = 1

can be written as

(cosecA - cotA)(cosecA+ cotA) = 1

cosecA - cotA = 1/5/2

cosecA - cotA = 2/5 ...(2)

now we have two equations

subtract (2) from (1)

we get

2cotA = 5/2 - 2/5

2cotA =21/10

cotA = 21/20

we know tanA = 1/cotA

= tanA = 20/21

option b
