Answer:

cosec \: theta =  \frac{13}{5}  =  \frac{h}{p} \\ pythagoras \: theoram \:  \\ h {}^{2}  = p {}^{2}  + b {}^{2}  \\ (13) {}^{2}   = (5) {}^{2}  + b {}^{2}  \\ 169 - 25 = b {}^{2}  \\ 144 = b {}^{2}  \\ b =  \sqrt{144}  \\ b = 12

 \cot \: theta \:  =  \frac{b}{p}  =  \frac{12}{5}

HERE IS UR ANSWER DEAR,

cosec theta = 1/ sin theta = hyp / opp = 13 /5

therefore

opposite side = 5

hypotenuse = 13

and

cot theta = adj/ opp...

so in order to find

value of another side of the triangle

use Pythagoras theorem ,

13² = 5²+ x²

169= 25 + adj²

adj² = 169- 25

adj² = 144

adj = √144

adj. = 12

so ,

cot theta = adj/opp = 12/5
