cosec a = 2

cosec a = Hypotenuse/Perpendicular

therefore,

Hypotenuse = 2x and Perpendicular = x

By Pythagoras theorem,

(2x)^2 = x^2 + base^2

base = root of x^2 = x

therefore, base =1.

sin a = Perpendicular/Hypotenuse

=x / 2x = 1/2

cos a = Base/Hypotenuse

= x / 2x= 1/2

therefore,

sin a / 1 + cos a = 1/2

------

1 + 1/2

= 1/2 * 2/3

= 3.
