If coswc theta=√2 then find value of 2sin² theta+3cot² theta÷4tan² theta-cos² theta​

To Find:

The value of 2sin²∅+3cot²∅/4tan²∅-cos²∅.

Answer:

Given that cosec∅ = √2 .

⇒cosec∅ = √2 .

⇒cosec∅ = cosec45°

cosec = 45° .

Now we have to find value of ,

2sin²∅+3cot²∅/4tan²∅-cos²∅.

= 2sin²45°+3cot²45° / 4tan²45°-cos²45°.

= 2(1/√2)²+3×(1)² / 4(1)² - (1/√2)².

= 2×½ + 3 / 4 - ½ .

= 1 + 3/ 4 - 0.5 .

= 4/3.5

= 4×10/35

= 8/7 .

Hence the required answer is 8/7.
