Given that cosec∅ = √2 .
⇒cosec∅ = √2 .
⇒cosec∅ = cosec45°
⇒cosec∅ = 45° .
Now we have to find value of ,
→ 2sin²∅+3cot²∅/4tan²∅-cos²∅.
= 2sin²45°+3cot²45° / 4tan²45°-cos²45°.
= 2(1/√2)²+3×(1)² / 4(1)² - (1/√2)².
= 2×½ + 3 / 4 - ½ .
= 1 + 3/ 4 - 0.5 .
= 4/3.5
= 4×10/35
= 8/7 .
Hence the required answer is 8/7.
