Step-by-step explanation:

Given that CotA=2/3

We know that

CotA=cosA/sinA

So

Multiply and divide by sqrt(sin^2a +cos^2a)

On top and bottom so u get

Cota =(2/sqrt(13)) /(3/sqrt(13))

From here

Cosa =2/sqrt(13)

Hope it helps

trigonometry

cot A = 2/3 =

let triangle abc right angled at c

cot A = AC/BC

now in triangle abc

apply Pythagoras theorem

then you get

AB = √13

cos A = AC/ AB

= 2/√13

i hope it helps you
